We have released a major software update for ChemProX, introducing a wide range of new features and usability improvements that further enhance the capabilities, maintainability, and operational readiness of the handheld chemical detector.

This release delivers meaningful benefits for ChemProX users across military, civil defence, and first responder applications.

The update introduces several important enhancements, including:

  • Cleaning Mode, helping improve detector longevity through internal decontamination.
  • Enhanced Confidence Check, now displaying the date and time of the last successful confidence check.
  • Automatic display of the date and time setup screen during start up if the system clock has been reset.
  • Simplified data export, combining event logs, sensor logs and system information into a single export process.
  • Expanded CCT training capabilities, including additional chemical alarm simulations and radiation area simulation when using the Radiation Detector Module (RDM).
  • Editable Modbus ID, providing greater flexibility for multi-detector system integrations.

This software release reflects Bertin Environics’ long-term commitment to continuously improving product performance, introducing new capabilities, and extending the value of customers’ investments.

 

How to Update Your ChemProX

The latest software can be downloaded through the ChemProX Update Station, making it quick and straightforward to keep your detector up to date.
