Advanced CBRN Training Delivered at Sattahip Naval Base
Bertin Environics successfully conducted advanced CBRN training for the Royal Thai Navy on 22–23 April 2026 at Sattahip Bay, within the Sattahip Naval Base area. The training was delivered by Training Manager Toni Leikas as part of the midlife upgrade programme of HTMS Taksin, a Naresuan-class frigate.

The two-day programme combined both operational and technical training modules, including X-System User Training Level 2, X-System Maintenance Training Level 2, and ChemProX User Training Level 2. The sessions were designed to strengthen both system operation and lifecycle maintenance competencies, ensuring optimal performance of the upgraded CBRN monitoring capability onboard.

Supporting Lifecycle Readiness Through Modernization

The training ensured that Royal Thai Navy personnel can effectively operate and maintain these upgraded systems, supporting sustained mission readiness.
