Bertin Environics participated in the Maritime Demo Day held on 10 February 2026 in Lumut, Malaysia, bringing together representatives from the Malaysian Navy, Coast Guard, shipyards, and maritime industry companies. The event provided an excellent platform to demonstrate advanced CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear) detection solutions designed specifically for maritime and naval environments.
The Bertin Environics Solutions team was represented by Area Sales Manager Veli-Matti Miettinen and Application Manager Arto Penttinen. During the event, the team introduced the X-System, highlighting its suitability for naval applications where reliable and continuous monitoring of hazardous threats is critical.

In addition to the X-System, attendees were introduced to ChemProX, which was demonstrated live during the event. The demonstration showcased the device’s advanced chemical detection capabilities, ease of use, and suitability for rapid response operations.
