Bertin Environics’ President and CEO, Kirsi Hedman, will be part of the official Finnish business delegation accompanying the President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb on his working visit to Canada on 14–15 April 2026.

The visit to Ottawa brings together Finnish political leadership and key industry representatives to advance cooperation in areas such as security, technology, and sustainable development. As part of this delegation, Bertin Environics will contribute its expertise in advanced detection solutions, particularly in the field of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) threat monitoring.

Kirsi Hedman’s participation underscores the company’s role in supporting international security and resilience through cutting-edge environmental and safety technologies. The main objective of her participation is to further strengthen Bertin Environics’ presence in the Canadian CBRN market and to build strategic partnerships in the region. The visit provides an opportunity to engage with Canadian stakeholders and explore potential collaborations in sectors where reliable detection capabilities are critical, such as the naval sector to which we deliver proven CBRN monitoring solutions.
