Technology Unique technology designed for field use Our sensor technology used in our detector products is based on our own open loop IMS-technology, IMCell™, which is combined with a variety of other sensors to provide reliable detection. The open loop sensor is measuring the ambient air continuously and therefore, the sensitivity of the sensor is high. Also the response of the sensor is fast also in low concentration. Therefore, our detector provides many advantages, especially in field use:

Very typical to other IMS sensor technologies is the need of the sensor to be automatically cleaned after a high concentration of any chemical, so called backflush mode. During this mode the instruments are not operating and the user does not have real time information of the surrounding air. Our sensor is working continuously without backflush. The radiation source used in our sensor ensures the reliable operation of IMS sensor in all environmental conditions, even in high humidity. The activity of our sensor is several hundred times lower than in the other IMS instrument, and therefore our customers do not have the same level of requirements for handling the material:
