ENVI Assay System

ENVI Assay System contains sensitive and reliable rapid tests for presumptive analysis of unknown potential biological threats. ENVI Assay System Gold and ENVI Assay System FL tests are based on lateral flow immunoassay format utilizing BWA-specific, gold- or fluorescence-labelled antibodies, respectively. Currently, they include disposable tests for screening of environmental samples for the presence of ricin toxin, SEB, botulinum toxin, Bacillus anthracis and pox viruses (smallpox). The test procedures with a few operational steps require only minimal training and are easy to conduct in demanding working conditions: the unique work bench design of ENVI Assay System Gold makes handling of small test items even easier. Test results (Positive/Negative) are announced in 15 minutes.

ENVI Assay System FL tests are always used in combination with a ChemPro® Reader Module connected to a PC or to a ChemPro®100 Chemical Detector. Also in the case of ENVI Assay System Gold, the use of the Reader Module is highly recommended, since it enables long-term data storage and enhances reliability by reducing false interpretations for the visible test results.

ENVI Assay System products will be soon completed with new single-use tests: ENVI Assay System CWA Nerve Agent Test and Blood Agent Test will be launched in spring 2008. These chromatographic tests are based on chemical colour reactions and they are intended for rapid screening of air, surface and liquid samples in 15 – 20 minutes.

Envi Assay System Gold

ENVI Assay System Gold includes easy-to-use, sensitive and reliable immunochromatographic tests for qualitative detection of the presence of Ricin Toxin, SEB or Botulinum Toxin. Each test package contains one test cassette, a sampling swab, a buffer solution vial and a fi lter cap with a gold-antibody conjugate - all what is needed for performing an assay with solid or liquid samples in the field or in laboratories.

Envi Assay System FL

The ENVI Assay System FL is a complete collection of highly sensitive biodefence tests. The product family consist of four individual tests for Anthrax, Botulinum Toxin, Pox and Ricin Toxin, and as with ENVI Assay System Gold, they are designed for easy application and for fast and reliable results. The ENVI Assay System FL tests are Immunochromatographic lateral fl ow tests based on fl uorescence-labelled antibodies. The ENVI Assay System FL Tests need to be analyzed with the ChemPro Reader Module

Envi Assay System CWA Test Kits

Also similar test kits for CWA agents are to be released. The test kits are currently going through very extensive testing prodecures and they will be introduced after the laboratory work is concluded.
