ChemPro - Reader Module

ChemPro® Reader Module is an optional accessory for the handheld ChemPro®100 Chemical Detector and broadens its use to simultaneous biological detection. The Reader Module is designed for screening of potential biological threats in combination with ENVI Assay System Gold and FL tests in military and civil defence environments, both in the laboratories and the field. The technology is based on a digital camera with an image recognition algorithm and LEDs as light sources. The ChemPro®100 provides the Reader Module with power, a processor, a user interface and a display. Alternatively, the Reader Module can be connected to a PC via USB port and operated with a separate PC-UIP.

For the analysis of ENVI Assay System Gold and FL test results, there are two alternative reading modes available in the Reader Module: Read Test Result for sequential reading of several completed test cartridges in 10 seconds/test and Run Test for completing and analyzing a single test in 15 minutes. Test results are automatically stored in the device memory and announced visually and as an audio alarm in ChemPro®100 and visually on a PC screen in the PC-UIP.
