CBRN Reconnaissance Vehicle System

The Environics CBRN Reconnaissance Vehicle System is meant for an easy, fast and reliable sampling and area monitoring of Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) compounds. The System carries out searching, detection & warning, analyzing and sampling tasks for virtually any CBRN substances. The System also performs constant environmental measuring.

Operation Principle
The crew carries out a CBRN reconnaissance task in a mobile vehicle. When the vehicle is stopped the crew can analyze and identify the dangerous substances found in the samples. Both air and ground samples can be processed and identified in the vehicle. If hazardous materials are found, the system offers tools for creating a complete CBRN report and enables real-time monitoring of the contamination situation.

System Architecture
The system is structured in such a way that the onboard computer receives and processes real-time data from the various sensors. Any abnormalities in the information are immediately recognized and proper actions can be taken. The system is completely platform-free and can be installed into various types of armoured and non-armoured vehicles. Also additional sampling systems and detection sensors can be attached as a part of the earlier installed system.
